Influencer and Social Account Manager

APPLICATIONS OPEN

LOCATION: SYDNEY OFFICE (Surry Hills)
Hybrid (4 days in office)

Neon Black is a Sydney-based communications and PR agency known for bold, creative work that cuts through. We're boutique and founder-led, working across consumer, lifestyle, and entertainment brands, and we've spent a decade building a reputation for campaigns that don't just make headlines but spark conversations.

We're a tight-knit team with high standards, genuine ambition, and a track record of going up against global agencies and winning. This is a great time to join us.

The Role
We're looking for an experienced Account Manager to own our fast growing influencer and social offering. You'll lead creator-driven campaigns end-to-end across a portfolio of well-known consumer and lifestyle brands - from strategy and talent identification through to execution and reporting.

This is a role for someone who genuinely knows the Australian influencer landscape, is confident with clients, lives and breathes high impact results and wants to bring that expertise to work with real creative ambition behind it.

The Role

  • Leading end-to-end influencer campaign delivery — strategy, creator identification, briefing, scheduling, execution, and reporting

  • Serving as the day-to-day client lead across influencer and social scopes, building trusted relationships and managing expectations with clarity and warmth

  • Managing creator and talent manager relationships, and staying across platforms, trends, and tools

  • Developing responses to briefs and pitching ideas that drive account growth

  • Analysing and optimising content performance throughout campaigns, using data to inform future recommendations

  • Mentoring junior team members and contributing to the broader team across influencer and creator campaigns

  • Keeping budgets, timelines, and approvals tight so nothing falls through the cracks

  • Staying across industry trends, platform updates, and what's actually working in the creator space

  • Supporting pitches for new business in the influencer and creator realm

What we're looking for

  • 2+ years of agency experience in an influencer marketing role

  • Genuine, up-to-date knowledge of the Australian creator landscape — you know who's relevant, who's rising, and what performs

  • Strong client management skills, with the ability to manage up and down with ease

  • Excellent communication, presentation, and organisational skills

  • Comfortable managing multiple campaigns and workstreams simultaneously

  • Experience with influencer platforms and reporting tools, and confident turning data into clear insights

  • Proactive and solutions-focused, with a collaborative approach to team work

What we offer

  • 20 days annual leave

  • $1,000 individual yearly training budget

  • Early Friday finishes during summer months

  • Time in lieu for weekend and evening work

  • A genuinely supportive team where your work is seen and your growth is invested in

Right to work: You must have full working rights in Australia to be considered for this role.
